Stash Shopping

I have been to Down Sunshine Lane again. I ordered 4 of the Christmas ornaments. I ordered Baked Goods, Cardinal Winter, Gingerbread Village and Silent Night. I love the charts and the Crescent Colors. Now to get some of what I have started finished so I can start some more!

Update on Stash Order

Cherry Cake and Mississippi Riverboat both came in the mailbox on Monday. Down Sunshine Lane was very quick in their delivery! I am expecting House of Stitches delivery today. Which is also pretty quick. I have been sick with a terrible cold so I have only put in a few stitches on Monday night. Then I had to frog half of it out. Maybe I can stitch this evening. The Crescent Colors floss the came with Cherry Cake are beautiful. Happy Stitching everyone!

Shoping Saturday

I went shopping at my 2 favorite online stores House Of Stitches and Down Sunshine Lane. I ordered Mississippi Riverboat and The Chocolate Shop from Littlehouse Needleworks. I ordered Cherry cake from Country Cottage Needleworks and Crescent Colors. I also ordered the floss for Chocolate Shop and some 28 ct Lambswool Jobelean. The Strawberry cake is on back order so I will be looking for that to come in to. I am so looking forward to my mail lady stopping at my box!

Adding To My Stash!

I have been shopping at www.stitchingbitsandbobs.com They are having a sale and I had to take advantage of the great prices. I bought a couple of Little House Needleworks charts for Christmas gifts and the Wool Needlebook and Fob chart. I also bought the Prairie Schooler Santas -04 thru 08 designs. I also got Prairie Schooler - Decenber, which is a new design and Prairie Schooler- Prairie Birds. I would have bought more Little House Needleworks and Country Cottage Needleworks but my daughter wanted me to make a list for her to choose from so she can get me some charts for Christmas. I worked on my Partridge in a Pear tree ornament last night. Having the time change gave me an extra hour to stitch! Its a beautiful day and we are going to watch the dear teen and her high school band march in the Veteran's Day Parade. Please support our troops and veterans, they have risked their lives for us. I will also take this time to mention...it is very important for each and every one of us to vote in the Presidential Election on Tuesday, Nov. 4th.

Mail Call!

My Little House Needleworks and Country Cottage Needleworks charts were delivered the other day!!! I am so excited about these designers! Little House Neighborhood and Though the woods are the first two I am starting. I have a basket on my dining room table with my current wip's. It was just a little overcrowded in there (imagine that) so I finished up a couple and now I can start more! I have started The Sweetheart Tree 12 Days of Christmas Series. I have the first 2 'days' so I only have 10 left to buy. Another fun shopping spree! I do not have any stitched ornaments I have made for my own tree so I am excited about having at least a couple from this series finished this year. I'm looking forward to alot of snow/stitching days!

I've been shopping!!

I went to my favorite LNS, which, sadly for me, is online and not in person. But I had a great time! In a couple of days I will be the proud owner of Little House Needleworks: Acorns, Through The Woods, Lavender Hill, Hollies And Berries and Little House Neighborhood!! I also ordered the Crescent Colors and Gentle Arts that go with Through The Woods. I am so in love with all the Little House Needleworks charts! I made a wish list that includes nearly all of them. I think I will pass a copy out to all my family members this year at Christmas. Too forward??? Well maybe I will try and control myself. New Stash Arrived

I placed my order at www.crosscountrystitching.com on Wednesday. It arrived yesterday! I did not expect to get it so quickly! I was pleased with everything. I loved the charts and especially the Red Ware plates. I also received their 2008 catalog and naturally I found more I want.

I went to Cross Country Stitching to renew my subscription and just could not stop there. I also ordered the Counrty Christmas Leaflet Collection, a pkg. of country round buttons, a pkg. of star buttons, large spool, round heart wire hanger, 5-star wire hanger with dowel rod, an oval flowerpot pick, 2 Red Ware plates - one Red House Welcome and one with a white sheep on it. I am totally excited about these items and my future Christmas stitching projects!! There is so much there I want so I will have to plan another 'trip' soon. I really enjoy stitching their designes. Problem Solved!

The addey cloth problem is solved! I called Amy at downsunshinelane.com. She is very friendly and helpful. Before we hung up, I had placed my order for the addy cloth and the pattern book for Stoney Creek's Snow Buddies! I would still love to know if anyone has stitched this on an afghan. I am going to make this one for my mom who collects snowmen and loves birds. She has several feeders and birdhouses in her yard. I plan on having it finished in time for Christmas. I will have to get very, very stitchy-busy to complete it!

Buying Stash

I have been shopping online at Down Sunshine Lane! Naturally, there were lots of charts I liked. This time, I ordered the first two designs in the Sweet Heart Tree's 12 Days of Christmas. My Christmas stash is very low and I have been looking for a 12 Days I liked for a while now. I was very happy to find these. The next two have been released so they will be ordered next. I have some 12 Days of Christmas ornaments my daughter bought me and I love them. This is one of my favorite Christmas songs. I can't wait to stitch these up and have them ready for my tree.
